Arizona's Forests Are Dying and Washington Is Making It Worse
Northern Arizona's economy runs on its forests. Tourism, small businesses, communities. And right now, the Forest Service can't tell me when they'll finish reforestation after the White Sage and Dragon fires burned through 205,000 acres.
Three to five years. That's their timeline. That's too long.
On top of that, this administration is moving to roll back the roadless rule that protects 45 million acres of forest land from more ignition risk. I pushed them on it. Watch what they said.
